I like the way you redid "We don't need no stinkin' xenos!" If you changed all the "Most" challenges to flat winner takes all awards, it would save a huge amount of bookkeeping. As it is, we have to record data for every Templar every level, then compare them with every Templar every level by every other player to determine the level by level winners. This would incidentally also eliminate a lot of the silly rules lawyering that one guy keeps bringing up. I for one have decided to play my normal style on hard and see where it goes, except for trying to win the Stalin thing, which I find irresistible.

Lt. Hathaway even Templars need good legal council occasionally. You can do the Stalin deal...me I'm looking to keep mine all alive and kicking.

It's Sunday for a while here, so I'm still considering. It's just the image of the captain at the end of each campaign turning to the three newbies and explaining "Sorry, lads. The secret mission orders say this is as far as you go. Die hard, we need the points! "

Yeah simple is better. Killing Xeno's is better still. Still Xenos after being killed is better again.

Does most kills by a single Templar include the captain?

Hell yeah. The captain may be the one with the large pruning knife, but I've found that he isn't always the one with the highest kills, especially in situations where his life is down to 2 bars. One more hit and it's game over, so you put him back in more of a supervisory role.
The only way you can get the captain to have a MUCH higher kill ratio is if you do more of the lone-wolf approach, or have the captain block an egress point so the rest of the team can get to safety, but playing on the harder difficulty levels, splitting the team is not always a sound choice.

Cool. On my run through, the captain didn't always have the most kills in a scenario, but usually did and was the only one to do all scenarios. Plus, I like having her kill things.

By the way, I already made a chart to track the objectives. So, I'm gonna use it!

Go for it! I'm playing through the tutorial as we speak, and loving every minute of it. I'll probably give Lt. Hathaway a run for his money though, I'm attempting to go through every mission using only melee on Brutal. We'll see who gets the most templars killed!

'Subsequently known as 'The Great Stalin's Ghost!' Challenge, many scholars feel it was the great turning point in Templar Assault history....'

Yes, historians identified that this trend for enthusiastic shunning of ranged weapons in favor of fists, swords, and foul language caused the Templars to the brink of annihilation. Never before in the history of the Templar order, had so many knights perished and territory lost because some captain got it in his head that it was more honorable putting a fist through a Xeno skull than to shoot it with a 2.00 caliber hypersonic slug. In fact, this trend was directly attributed to the ultimate fall of the Roavin and Vestmarch fortresses. There is a reason why "Ghost" is in the challenge name ... there are lots of Tempar ghosts turning in their grave. Still ... I'm in

Me I prefer shooting things...or barbequeing them. Does roasting Xenos in an open fire count against the Texas award? Also can I give my Captain two pistols or was that patched?
