A minor thing, but... Opened the atlas and one of the planets in the quadrant showed the position (40,21), but not the relative distance (see below, planet 'Betlegesse Prime'). Once you tap on the planet, the distance appears (20AU). It is repeatable as long as you move the ship to a new location on the map, and only happens to this one planet. It's the game I'm still playing on my iPad, let me know if it's of interest to send in the save files.

That's great fallen, glad we were able to sort a few things. The above game is on NORMAL difficulty btw, didn't even think about possibility of difficulty coming into play... Love the layers of this game. Cory Trese, yah, normally a little difference isn't a big deal, but there WAS this one time I needed every last credit to repair my warp engine, and ended up just short. Wasn't a good day for that captain. Had to sell other inventory at a loss just to get minimum repairs. Anyway, awesome that we made some corrections and squashed some bugs too. :-)

Hopefully is included in the bug fix fallen states above, but noticed that the ships mass also does not update when installing a new component. I needed more mass for upgrading something, so upgraded a deflector array with an advanced mass dampener 1. After upgrading, my ship still showed 6000/6000 mass in the title of the 'Replace Component' screen. Backing out of the screen and re-entering it (Upgrade components from the Starport button) then correctly showed the 5400/6000 mass.

Yah, it's possible something happened along those lines. I might have learned of the contact through a rumor, as it wasn't one of my initial, and haven't purchased introductions as of yet. I only discovered him through the contacts button when I entered this new sector, and noticed I had a local contact from a different faction, so I went and visited the planet using the NAV button within the contact page. I noticed the anomaly of the orbit map missing the icon, so took the screenshots.
So I'll keep an eye out for this happening again.

I've noticed this for awhile (going back a few versions). When selling items at the exchange, I normally do some quick math in my head to estimate how many credits I'll have after selling an item. In the below example, I'd add the 20.2K credit for the sale to my 42.1K existing credit and think, "62K credits. Cool", then hit the SELL button. But, the credits always seem a little short, like below: Sooo.. I only have 60K credits vs 62K. In doing the math in my head, I'd noticed this for the past month or so (especially with larger transactions since the delta is more obvious) and first thought it was me, but when I realized it was consistently doing this, finally took a screenshot. The popup which appears temporarily properly shows the math used to end up at the 60K credits ( 6 units sold for xx credits), and the xx credits is less than the 20.2K shown in the first image, but would add up to the 60K credits that I ended up with. Pls let me know if it isn't clear, realize it's a bit of a run-on description.... but basically, the amount shown that I can sell the units for is less than the amount I'm paid.

Went to visit a contact on a planet; the sector map shows it, the orbit map does not. Landing on the planet shows a contact button. Weird.
I did check and verified that he was in my contacts list. Weirder yet, when I left the planet, visited another and came back a few turns later, the contact was displaying correctly on the orbit map. So I can't reproduce. I'll let you know if I see again.

I don't see any issue with that. Proc gen is proc gen. The Quadrant is a wilderness quadrant. You posted a completely unexplored map. Of course you can't see the wilderness planets that are there Ah, exploring wilderness quadrants! Another awesome layer to the game... will be fun playing explorer...

Love the hud! Is the 'tap' HUD disabled on the ground purposely? Not a big deal to me, but seemed odd that you couldn't open the hud info window anywhere

Yah, probably a refresh issue. After leveling crew and hitting the back button, a few of them still displayed as needing leveled.
