I think you'd be fine if you just surrendered. Factions don't seize packages from their own missions.

I've noticed Zealot's primary Skill is Command, and Quartermasters primary is Intimidate. That seems backwards to me. Zealots seem to me like they prefer to get things done with a wrathful fervor, something that would be represented by having a primary Intimidate skill. Quartermasters, on the other hand, seem like they make intelligent decisions about rationing and the division of duty amongst the crew, stuff that seems like it should be represented by having primary Command skill.

Acquiring Pardons is such a rare event that if there were Talents for reducing their price, the player would likely immediately retrain their Diplomat/Merchant after purchasing it. Maybe instead of adding new Talents for reducing Pardon prices, some old Talents should be made to cover Pardons? For example, maybe Diplomat's Silver Tongue could be used to reduce price of Pardon or rank, instead of just rank. That might make diplomats too powerful for peaceful builds Why do you say that?

I've been trying to think of traits that aid in ship combat
Battle Station Affinity - [10+Wisdom]% chance to not activate Talent cooldown when using a Talent in ship combat (must be a Talent belonging to this crewman, not another crewman's Talent)
Naval Zeal - Gains 4-8 morale and HP on ship combat victory

You are saying that you did not see a confirmation to surrender? "Still our engines and allow the ship to approach. We will be at the mercy of a hostile Captain." I saw that message, but that is the normal message for surrendering. When the captain's rep is low enough to get executed, there should be different surrender message that warns the player like there was in STRPG. Maybe I should have made this thread in Suggestions instead of Bug Reports.

Righteous trait grants +2 Strength and Armor Piercing, and -10% parry chance
I'm not sure how being a righteous person is supposed to make you worse at parrying, or how it makes your bullets more armor piercing. And isn't righteous just a synonym for "virtuous", which is also a trait with a completely different effect?
So what does "Righteous" even mean in the context on ST?

I had -63 rep with Rychart. I surrendered to one of their BHs, and was immediately executed. There was no warning anywhere that surrendering would get me executed. I'm not mad though, I was wanting to start a new character anyway lol

Well I keep killing off my combat crew anyways, so probably good to wait until I have a good crew. It seems impossible to recruit people with good Strength Quickness or Fortitude. Are there certain zones/factions that would give better folks like that? I think I remember reading somewhere that high Military zones have better fortitude. Also, I think zones with very low atmosphere, or very high atmosphere, have slightly higher fortitude. Those don't seem to help much though, and I can't find out a way to consistently acquire crew with more than 100 HP.

Interesting feedback. They are definitely on the more accurate side of things, but also on the lower end of damage. I do not think we will change this, because the first round of combat and any associated damage is so critically important to the entire game's balance and well working. Torps are intended to be very accurate. It is very easy to get defensive Talents imho and most builds start with at least one Evasive Maneuvers? Defensive Talents don't always help much at range 5. My current build has two Pilot Assist 4 modules and one Nav Assist 4 Module. When using Evasive Maneuvers at range 5, I will be hit by around 67% of torpedoes from Paladin Cruisers and Guardian Interceptors, around 75% from Cautela Heavylifts, and around 95% from Xeno ships. Also, keep in mind these are level 1-3 torps the AI is using. When the AI is updated to be able to be generated with higher level torps, there will be nothing I can do to effectively dodge torps without minmaxing my ship for evasion.

Torpedoes and Missile systems seem a little too accurate compared to other guns, with the highest Attack bonuses. Also, considering the player starts at optimal range for torpedoes, and starts with no defensive Talents active, I think it is somewhat unbalanced how accurate Torps are.

By tapping on one of my fighters in crew combat, I can see all his/her traits, even ones I have not discovered yet.

3. Did you get the third high paying mission from the Warden yet? Not yet, but I did run into that warship our Cadarian military friend sent after me.

The mission objective area is still displayed on the galaxy map, so I was still able to get further in the storyline. I sold out the Cadar shock trooper guy to SSC, but I still had another mission objective marker on the map. I flew to the objective, and it seems to be the mission resolution option for the "set Cadar guy free" choice. Looks like I am able to complete the mission in both ways. Super buggy mission! Also, one of the lines of dialogue in the story said the shock trooper was a "stubborn resistor", but that is unrelated... or is it
