In the storyline for the Cadar officer, the game crashes when I try to open my active missions screen after I finished the SSC Warrant Officer's mission to deliver the Zenrin prisoner.

resistor - Missions. Blockade. Patrol. Black Market. Preventing desertion. Exploration saves. Charisma % chance when paying crew to discover hidden Traits. Talents and Traits, of course. Thanks, but I meant for regular crew, not captain.

Is high Charisma useful in any way at all for crew that do not have Talents that specifically use that Attribute?

Not sure if this would be hard necessarily, but the amount of branching paths from SSC's starting quadrant is crazy. Seed is st-v01-30-4-117442572

I'm still not a fan of Mok's slogan. "Trade unites us all" doesn't seem fitting for a faction that happily engages in trade bans and trade wars.

I think Navs should get a Talent that auto-passes Tactics skill tests. Currently the only Job that has this kind of Talent is the MO, and it seems kind of silly that the player has to get an MO to harden themselves against Tactics tests even if they are a non-combat build.

For Talent cooldowns. If it didn't start at turn 35, you would have to wait 3 weeks to use any Talents. Cory said that on a stream.

There is a flash game on Kongregate where you have to fight a defenseless vending machine (yes, a vending machine) with crazy over-the-top moves. Very entertaining if you just want to have fun for a few minutes, but it is not a game that can hold your attention for several hours. www.kongregate.com/games/Tanoku/mike-shadow-i-paid-for-it

Skills can be increased through jobs, so they have some avenue to be improved, but Attributes are fixed for the game. Also many skill tests, tests pools of the ship, so it doesn't give me that big of an advantage if my cap has +4 something. Whereas it's his attributes alone that get tested. +1 yah, me too. With a merchant captain I typically go with: 14 Strength 24 Quickness 25 Fortitude 23 Charisma (+2 through Charmer) 25 Wisdom 25 Resilience has been working well for me for Captain Tests on any difficulty level on the game. If you are just getting high attributes for skill tests, make sure the numbers even, not odd. Skill tests only use half the value of any attribute, and I'm pretty sure it rounds down.

You can't get rep with Indies. Generous in Service firing on Indy worlds is a bug. I'm pretty sure I reported it months ago edit: I looked at some of my old bug reports and it looks like I actually did not report this, so nevermind about that

Here is information on the Hunna from the lore book draft, Sinocelt :
The Hunna Independents have always existed on the fringes of Star Traders society. Those who choose to live free of the Faction law, by their own code, or in an attempt to dodge the law altogether gather, live, and survive on the least habitable planets of the Quadrants. Within these independent bastions and settlements, a the Hunna has arisen from the resentment against the power and greed of the Factions. The battle cry of the Hunna is that the Factions have abandoned Shalun Law in trust, only using it in name to further their greedy, bloody quest for power and wealth. The rebel organization was first named and recognized in the conflict on the Javat mining world, Tennhaus IV, in which a small battalion of Javat Faction Defenses was overrun in a bloody conflict. From there, the spark grew into a movement that has endured more than a century. The Hunna do what they can to keep their operations secretive, and recruit from among disenfranchised colonists, independents, and Faction laborers who agree with their damning read of the Faction leadership’s greed and betrayal of Shalun. Because of their position on the fringe worlds and the edge of legality, the Hunna work closely with smugglers, pirates, and other illegal operations as a way to fund their righteous cause. The Hunna’s tactics are often violent, ranging from intimidation, murder, guerrilla warfare, sabotage, and assassination. When and where they can, they follow their own version of Shalun Law, but as with any group walking such a knife edge, they have made compromises for their cause.

My Faction is Steel Song. I originally liked Steel Song as the first faction I ever played, and then I started learning more about the game and some lore, and Steel Song always stuck as my favorite. I've never liked Cadar though. Or De Valtos. I've gotten over de Valtos though. "So you like heavily armed sociopaths. OK. Not judging." -- A Moklumnue Trader Who'd Rather Stay Anonymous I don't think anyone from Steal Song likes Cadar. Respect, maybe, in some cases; but like? Pshah! Why doesn't anybody seem to like De Valtos, though? This Faction doesn't sound bad to me. Its standard of living is higher than that of other Factions, and not just among its wealthiest members. They get into Trade Embargoes frequently in STRPG. Trade Embargoes are annoying.
