I feel Experience is unimportant in the Template compared to everything else, and I always give it an E rank. It would be interesting if Experience was buffed by giving starting crew better traits when Experience is higher on the Template.

I just beat the Asylum Demon in Dark Souls using only my fists without running past him first.
The fight is fairly easy with a weapon, but with only fists you have to get a ridiculous amount of hits in, and with no estus I couldn't afford to make many mistakes. I don't know how many times I died, but it took me 2 hours to finally beat him.

I don't particularly like this because it doesn't express a uniquely Moklumnue perspective. It feels like De Valtos or Javat could say the same thing. De Valtos and Javat are the posers. Moklumnue have always been superior. And with that I have officially become apart of Moklumnue lol It seems Rychartians can't even be trusted to be loyal to each other. This is not surprising

My guide is being linked to by someone who is not me? Awesome! That must mean I am a pro or something lol
I only covered Duels of Assassins, Solar Wars, Spy Battles, and Alliances in that guide. I might as well mention here that Solar Wars increase the amount of shortage rumors. Duels of Assassins probably increase the amount of "assassination attempt on the prince's life" rumors, but I'm not entirely sure. I don't know how Spy Battles and Alliances affect rumor generation.
There are also Trade Embargoes, which, as I'm sure you already know, makes you a notorious terrorist if you buy water-fuel at the wrong planet. This conflict also increases the amount surplus and shortage rumors in the quadrant.
Trade Wars give rep when you kill the Merchants and Smugglers of an opposing faction. I have no idea how this afffects rumor generation.
Trade Alliances give rep when you trade restricted goods with the allied faction. Tax rumors are likely to be generated near the end of a Trade Alliance.

Quartermaster(8) | Welcoming Conscription | When conscripting enemy to serve in your crew after a ship victory, |
|
| new crew member starts with higher Morale and do not gain new negative Traits
|
How does this talent effect trait mutation? Does it mean the conscript will never develop a negative trait they don't already have? Any future mutation will always be a positive trait? When conscripting crew, those crew will normally develop negative traits and start with low morale. I'm pretty sure Welcoming Conscription just stops negative traits from being generated by conscription, and that it doesn't influence trait mutations after they join your crew.

"Trade is what binds us together." // "Trade is what binds the galaxy together." I don't particularly like this because it doesn't express a uniquely Moklumnue perspective. It feels like De Valtos or Javat could say the same thing.

Something like "For the profit of all", then. I'll think more about it. (Actually ... I do like "For the profit of all" as a motto for Moklumnue.)... In my opinion, that sounds too... benevolent... suspiciously benevolent. I believe one priority in rethinking the mottos of De Valtos and Mok is to make sure they don't sound interchangeable, so they don't seem too similar. For an example of two superficially similar factions having unique mottos that express their true individuality, look at the mottos of SSC and Cadar. The mottos of SSC and Cadar both explain why they are so militarized, but at the same time the mottos are antithetical to each other. De Valtos seems to me like they are more capitalistic. Moklumnue, by contrast, seems more mercantilistic. Maybe something like "Become more than what you are" for De Valtos, and "Commerce is a weapon" for Moklumnue mottos?

Could there be a trait that gives access to dual wielding swords? Maybe it would be too OP if someone could dual wield two regular swords, but having a trait that gives access to both a sword and off-hand blade in combat would be cool.

This is the hostile encounter card -- you're catching an unwelcome Explorer. They don't want to see you any more than you saw them. You gained Rep and Experience -- now your job is to run them off before they exploit your Faction's Zones. To be clear, I am talking about the Explorer card (the green one), not the random Ship Encounter cards. I'm pretty sure I am not getting any rep from it either. Maybe you are thinking of the Smuggler card?

I have a couple questions about trait mutations so I can make better suggestions 1) Are some traits only found on new crew/officers, and can't be mutated to? 2) fallen, you have mentioned before that only Alta Mesa crew can have the spatial trait. Will faction-specific traits like Spatial be acquirable by anyone through mutation? Or will only Alta Mesa crew members be able to mutate into it?

resistor - its a solid one for sure, focusing on AoE damage and hopefully some powerful weapons behind it. Current update includes some more leveling of the playing field for the combat AI (smarter) and in the next update or two we are going to fix the issues where they can show up "out of order" and some of the crew have to move around before they can start acting. It keeps getting spicier What difficulty? Impossible. It's what I always play on.
