Hah! I just successfully did that exact thing also! Premium version + Google drive did the trick. Definitely worth 5 bucks, considering the hundreds of hours of progress over 6 TB games.

Thanks for that! I'm going to give it another go and if it doesn't work I'll definitely get you some screenshots.

I'm trying to transfer app data containing game saves for all my TB games, and Helium is utterly failing me. I'm going from a galaxy s5 to an s9 plus. Helium worked great transferring from s5 to s5, but isn't working for me niw. I created backup files on my pc, but the restore function just sits there until the phone finally losea the connection with Helium''s server.
I've tried a couple of variations on the Helium approach (I just successfully created a backup within my old phone of STF data, but have zero clue how to move it). I don't know what else to try. I've seen Dropbox and other file transfer apps mentioned, but can't find a walk through for how to use them to transfer app data. There's a thrand have on here that includes save game data locations for a steam copy of the game, but I play on Android only. I know just enough techy mojo to be dangerous, and so have no idea what .abp or obb or whatever they're called are. I'm just a schmuck with a headache who desperately does not want to have to start ALL the way over on HoS, TBf, ST, STF, STE4x, and CK if I can possibly avoid it.
Any alternate solutions would be most welcome and appreciated. Even moreso if they're written so even your grandpa could follow them! Thanks, evetybody!

I just activated my shiny new Samsung s9+ and went through the procedure to transfer saved data using Helium. I used it before when I had to replace my s5 and it worked brilliantly. This time around however the restore part of the process just won't go through. I have tried restoring ONLY STF data. When Helium goes to "uploading..." it just sits until the phone's connection to their servereither times out or fails. At least one thread about this issue (it's not specific to Trese Brothers) exists in the 'webs. Has anyone else encountered this? More importantly, has anone found a workaround or alternate solution? Please and thanks!

I kind of figured the missile graphics were set to be finalized. Is rail gun the green lazery one? Or I might just need to pay more attention to the crawl that lists combat actions...

I was aware that there are some really deep levels of intricacy in the game that influence the effect side of cause and effect, but I did not know that all of the elements you named were taken into account when determining +/- 1 or 2 rep points. There is definitely a reason why your games are so good and so well loved!

I don't dislike them, but I do feel like a little more world building and sense of narrative adventure would make the mini games feel more like part of your captain and crew's story. I think the card mechanic works wondet fully and I enjoy the occasional white knuckle moment when you are waiting to find out if your crew are about to end up as xeno fodder.

I'm certain someone at some point has had this idea. I would love it if while working on jobs (patrol/blockade/spy/explore) you might occasionally encounter complications (good and bad ones) that would require one or more decisions and a little risk/reward.
So when patrolling you might encounter the ubiquitous "ship in distress" and have to choose between 2 or 3 options ("not my problem", help, and maybe help with a higher risk to your crew).
The card game is very cool and has just enough strategy and risk/reward to keep it from getting stale, but it often doesn't feel like your crew is actually working on something (unless combat ensues). For me it feels like it could just as well be a literal casino game that could cost you in weird real world ways ("You just busted on that last hand of blackjack. Now we will be punching 20-Command of your crew in the stomach.")
You might encounter a grav who, if you help him with something, might return the favor by speeding up your mission or increase rewards from the card game. Or quicksand! Because quicksand never gets old.

I have a minor gripe about the weapons animations, one of a very short list of nitpicky items I have encountered that bugs me. The animations don't always match what I would think the weapon fire should look like. The biggest one is missiles, which look like PDC fire front the Expanse show. Plasma and torpedoes work for me, but I'm not crazy about the big blue lazer for rail guns either. I feel just a little bit guilty for this post, as I love almost everything about this game.

Ha. Nevermind. Just saw the thread about retreating text. Guess that's one more in favor of more specific text.

I like this idea. I also like the idea of no gain or loss when encountering another faction's non-combat ships like explorers and merchants. If I don't fire a shot we're just 2 ships flying past one another in the void. What's to get upset about?

When recruiting crew from contacts I have been finding recruits with decent attributes, but they have a -6 to their initiative range that is not explained by known traits. Is this just bad luck with hidden traits? I've seen this at least 3 times in the last several hours of game play on Normal to Hard difficulty.

On my galaxy s5 the game as is is playable. There is the occasional frustrating moment when trying to sort the crew by jobs or accidentally pay for repairs that take 12 weeks when trying to make a deadline that inspire curses. I agree that just making buttons bigger is not the right answer. Although I did not like it at first, the options "drawer" that can be opened while planetside seems like a clever way around bouncing between 35 different menu screens with more user friendly buttons.

Congratulations, sirs!
Thank you for the amazing work you do. I've played a lot of games that were fun, but youse are the only ones that are nearly as much fun seeing and even being a tiny part of behin the scenes as they are to play. Best game makers ever!
