DEATHSTALKERS Kincaid Kjartan Fyona Selen Kincaid Darting Steel * Crippling Strikes 6 Sure Parry 7 Cunning Footwork 10 Live By The Blade 7
Kjartan Choking Ash 10 Burning Blades 10 Firebolt * Firestorm * Pureflame Shield * Meteoric Shockwave *
Fyona Holy Strickening 10 Reckoning 9 Shield of Cortias * Blessed Aura * Righteous Fervor *
Selen Punishing Blades 10 Pinning Shot 5 (8?) Dance of Shadows 7 (10?) Quicksilver Defense * Frenzied Blows *
Kincaid will be using 1AP weapons exclusively to maximise numbers of attacks and his ability to position himself to best shield other party members. Looking for minimum of 10% SP Drain before weapons, prefer higher, then gear adding damage (any type, normal or magical) and/or critical %. Kjartan will use whatever Staff gives best combination of +magic damage and defense. Gear will likely be best magic damage/critical %, although if good HP/Armor/Parry/Dodge/Evasion gear is available then that may take president as he's your squishiest hero. Best option is to simply keep him away from any possible attacks as much as possible. Adding Constitution is also an aid to keeping him standing. Fyona is looking for 2AP weapon and best shield she can get. Want to try getting her to at least 10% SP Drain but any gear adding Armor/Parry/Dodge/Evasion is priority then plus damage (any type)/critical %. Selen will use 1AP Light Blades and 2AP Bows exclusively. Want 10% SP Drain minimum then any type of critical % or bonus damage gear. That in mind make sure to look for gear that help her keep Stealth around her level if skill and Dance of Shadows aren't enough.
This group is focused first on reducing enemies Armor and Resistances then stripping AP and ability to deal damage. For Talents I've marked with a * they are either optional or I've not yet settled on a level for them. With high amounts of Armor and Resistance removed the party can quickly kill even tough enemies. Always start every round with Curses on any enemies in range who haven't yet been cursed. (Checking enemies stats is important, no need for Selen to make a Punishing Blades attack if enemy is already below 10 Armor for example.) Positioning is Important especially if there are ranged enemies present as they are the ones who will pose greatest threat. Generally I prefer to pull back and force enemies to come to the party when possible, however at times best option may be for a rapid advance. Keeping party in close proximity to each other helps make Fyona's Blessed Aura a very efficient Heal and allows for mutual support of all heroes. Minimum Armor and Resistance for most enemies combined with some solid AoE attacks means party just buzz saws through them. Note: This is a variant of my Deathwalkers build above. Selen allows for better long range AoE mob control with her Pinning shot. She's can also help remove even more Armor and reduce incoming damage with her Punishing Blades but even with 1AP Light Blade she can't quite match the close in mayhem that Tamilin can provide with Torrent of Steel. Also slightly less -Resistance cursing as a trade off for the greater -Armor potential. Deathwalkers can struggle a bit if faced with larger numbers of ranged attacking mobs and limited ability to manoeuvre. Deathstalkers looks to address that issue somewhat with Selen replacing Tamilin. Overall effect should be nearly identical with the group focus still being to strip as much enemy defenses as possible to maximise on damage per attack.

I didn't know I had my own character... What would my Talents be?
Either way, I'm glad to be on the roster!

The concern for ap removal at range has me thinking about a group with flash freeze, ethereal anguish, pinning shot and crippling strikes thrown in for good mesure- that aught to nerf those baddies good. :-p Alternatively I might do Kincaid (CS) and Fyona (reckoning) as a pair for the close range targets and Vincent (FF) with Selen (PS) for range. Overkill yes, but possibly fun overkill.

So the pilot is a puzzle to the crew and the navigator has to be told - "No, we're not going down -that- rabbit hole [again]." Nice
