Is there an extensive beginners guide on star traders that is NOT a google drive file cuz i can open them but they way it opens for me is just un readable (it's my phones fault it's pretty old)

How can you earn substancial amounts of money other than exploring and selling artifacts weapons and electronics 1) Do a bunch of contracts. Having high reputation and military rank will drastically increase payment for contracts.
2) Exploit world economies that have a surplus/shortage. This can be especially profitable if you have a large cargo hold.

When you have surplus cargo, I do not recommend saving it for a shortage (unless there is coincidentally one nearby). Just sell it to a normal world economy, and you'll make some nice profits. When a shortage arises, you can just buy cargo from a normal economy and sell it at the shortage world.

Sorry, I forgot to respond about ranks. Higher military ranks for a faction will make it so they offer more high paying contracts, and completing contracts will award bonus reputation. However, contracts offered will also be more difficult, so only get a high military rank if you are prepared for that.
If you have Rank 17 or higher, that faction's unique flagship will appear in their Rank Ships list. If you are rank 18 or higher, you are immune to trade embargoes imposed by that faction. To give a clear example of how that works, suppose Thulun and Javat have a trade embargo. Suppose you have rank 18 with Thulun, and no rank with Javat. Thulun will not penalize you for buying from Javat, but Javat will penalize you for buying from Thulun.

Blockading can earn you money too, if you have high enough intimidate skill. Also, doing contracts for houses/syndicates will help you a great deal. |

Does the millitary rank affect ships i encounter ? Or is that effected by my level
