Speaking as someone who has eaten both chicken and eggs, which by Internet standards makes me some kind of expert.
The whole question hinges on what we mean by egg. If we specifically mean a chicken's egg then the chicken must have come first. If we mean eggs as a more general concept, it depends on whether you believe in evolution or creationism. Evolution: (I have missed a few steps out for simplicity) single cell life -> multicellular life -> egg laying lizard thing that looks a bit like a bird -> bird that is almost, but not quite, a chicken, which lays an egg that produces a bird which is just recognisable as a chicken = Egg comes 1st.
Creationism: (all steps included)
God creates chicken and assorted other life forms all on the same day -> Chicken lays egg = Chicken comes 1st.
You could argue that earlier that week God created the earth and buried lots of fake dinosaur egg and other fossils in it to trick gullible doubters into believing in evolution, so actually eggs existed first. However, since these are clearly stated to be fake eggs, they don't count.
Ultimately, "time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so", so the concept of something coming before something else is nonsense. Since we're talking about lunch... I'll have an omelette.

My sympathies. We lost my Father-in-Law to prostate cancer a couple of years ago, it was a difficult time, especially for my wife. Even though I deal with this sort of thing regularly in my job, it is different when it's family.
Things do get better.
To echo what others have said, we're here if you need us.

The heat gain is lower if you don't kill. but you do still gain heat. I'm fairly sure it is less again if you stealth exit rather that looting ammo etc. If you are looting, successfully intimidating bystanders reduced heat and rep damage, but I think failure makes it even worse. If you are working for Brave Star, make sure you speak to their ladder connector Texas Powers (or both if you are playing the tutorial - Lt Simon I think, you get introduced to him as part of the story) There are some pretty good rewards. I've never done much on the matrix so can't help you there.
One other thing, sign up for an account on this board. You can then get alerted when any of use reply to your questions.

Avoid fights if you can, if you have to fight use non-lethal weapons. If you have the cash, I think changing your computer resets your heat.

1) Remember that unless you are playing the "Male II" character you can't use clubs. One of best clubs isn't available to buy, it's a ladder reward. I think Blue Ox sell some good clubs, but their patch is a bit more dangerous. I personally get shock gloves (the blue ones) as soon as I can, they're effective against all enemies bar a couple of drones. You generate less heat by stunning rather than killing enemies and you are less likely to accidentally kill a target you are meant to capture. The corp branded stores in gang territory sell some good ones. 2) I'll leave that to some of the others who have more experience. 3) Most of the really good armour is in corp territory, buy the best you can afford and access safely, upgrade when you can. startradersrpg.proboards.com/post/27101/thread has list of what you can buy and where, although I'm not sure how up to date it is.

1) I you don't want to get a dataport implant for your current knight, it's worth playing through the tutorial game (Made not born), you'll get the option to work with a reasonably good hacker. Alternatively start a new game as a hacker, but you will be fairly underpowered to start. 2) I found as a new player that the combat classes were easier to get to grips with, although I found as a sniper I had to rely on pistols in the early stages as I wasn't skilled enough to use a rifle. 3) LV and Fennian have both got good reward ladders, so score over Streets for a new player. 4) The game manual and character descriptions give good info. The main differences are in what weapons can be used, which in turn can rule out some classes. some characters have higher max in some stats and (I think) slightly different starting stats. 5) Some factions have "Ladder Connectors" who give rewards for high rep, the sheep has mentioned Kass and as I said in 1) Fennian have one too, I won't say who. There are more, you can either find out as you play through or check out this post startradersrpg.proboards.com/post/59622/threadAlso while you are learning, choose a low difficulty, expect to die when you wander into the wrong territory too soon or pick a fight with the wrong people and don't get hung up about scrapping a game and starting again. We've all done it!

If you can provide details of your device, operating system and version and game version it should help Cory Trese and fallen get to the bottom of the issue quicker. In the meantime, make sure developer options are not enabled on your device, they are a common source of problems with the games.

Still showing description of 4.5.15 on Play Store in the UK. Oddly it's listed as 4.5.16?

Your extended sight Talents are -1 AP cost less than normal on an ambush. This can make them free. I've learned something today...

Have you changed anything on the phone in the intervening time? I (for reasons to complicated to go into now) had to create a new user on my tablet and, despite using the same google account, all my saved games had gone because android gives each new user their own space for files. Fortunately, I hadn't deleted the old user yet and was able to recover the files.
