I like this idea. I also like the idea of no gain or loss when encountering another faction's non-combat ships like explorers and merchants. If I don't fire a shot we're just 2 ships flying past one another in the void. What's to get upset about? There are lots of scenarios where this is the rule. But the simulator contains nuance, and honors Rep/Rank/Rumor/Edict/Conflict/Contact/etc to ensure that the player enjoys a variety of scenarios.

I like the justification for the Crown Icon. This Captain is one to watch out for.

Ok, I can fix this one too. Looks like it is caused by a missing refresh statement.
I suspect this is because that cargo button was added pretty late, and the dump system was added after that.
I didn't htink to come back and check it

it looks like it is updated, I will double check. You can see the _Reference pages on any URL normally as if any other wiki page. If you look at the source of a page that includes a _Reference you will see an include statement with the _Reference For example, this page: startraders.gamepedia.com/Bounty_Huntercontains {{:Bounty Hunter_Reference}} which references (includes inline) this page startraders.gamepedia.com/Bounty_Hunter_ReferenceIn this way, we can combine on a single page some elements that are hand created and some that are grammatically generated from the game.

Anything in the *_Reference group should update automatically.

The idea is correct, you'd have to dismiss a certain number of Crew to go back down to 24. Those Crew will want to find new jobs on another ship.

Speeding up card game animations, ship combat animations, and crew combat animations are without a doubt #1 on my wish list. By a mile. A space mile. Surprisingly, I don't mind travel speed nearly as much. Sorry to hear we've missed the mark so badly for you. Hopefully you're able to find a way to enjoy the game while we work to improve it as quickly as we can. Team of two working on a Kickstarter backed project. Lots of promises made!

and maybe that is one way to think about it -- if you are lucky enough to draw Char's friends, consider a playthrough where you Patrol and do missions, while working both sides for fun and profit.

I think some people are using those Contacts, when they get them, to remain neutral with Char's camp. I really can see both sides but I'm not sure how to fix.

I can see a Reputation bonus being appropriate if you're carrying Permit goods and have your Permits in order. That seems like the kind of thing that would garner a bonus. Legal cargo I'm not sure they'd be happy or just ambivalent.

So, Zette's current plotline ends when she becomes provost, and there is no way to wake Aldol? Sniff. Then I will have to wait for the full release. We released on Wednesday of last week. Thanks for playing!

Depends on your playstyle and approach I guess. Some people have said these Contacts are extremely useful and live/die by them.
Different styles require different things. I can see both sides of the story.
