@rearick, I'll give it an honest shot. I've played enough groups to adapt, she just isn't enough for me, even after the updates. It's just me though- I've had a chip on my shoulder with her since my first group with her... Every time I have run her she has gotten me killed. Not KJ, not Vincent, always her.

fallen, exactly the opposite... I use every other character all the time. The only one who I don't use is Tamilin. She just doesn't appeal to me at all  Just to prove it, tonight, I'll begin a boosted group and give her another honest shot. I know I'll be missing having a parry/dodge curse, but for the sake of debate, why not? Not only does she not fit into any of my groups talent wise, she is only slightly less fragile than KJ, and that makes her a liability, where two/three shots that make it through her defenses is enough to kill her. Get basic default group. And don't try to tank with Kyera. I mean, not intentionally. She will be able to take an occasional swing or two later in the game, but before that, just don't. Stay at range, block approaches with Vraes, and you'll see where and why Tamilin shines. This is just entirely different gameplay, different mindset, if you want. At a VERY later game, circa CoD and Fang quest, where you get more of open space, your group will be sufficiently pumped up to take the fight in the open, drag and clump opponents into efficient packs to rain down AoE damage on their heads. But until that, narrow passage barricaded by a heavy shield is your best place to be. |

Every time I have run her she has gotten me killed. Not KJ, not Vincent, always her. Yeah, if I lead with her, she's usually the downfall of the group unless you put some serious thought into building her to survive lost stealth rolls. I'd recommend leading with Kincaid or Vraes. |
