johndramey, we have yet to hear from hissrad, but given past conversations, I see no reason why we cannot go forward with our jointly agreed upon proposal. You have the full backing of Thulun behind you, and may present our consensus to the Council and to Templar Commander CdrPlatypus. Should time be short, simply let us know and we will surely be able to find the time to present it ourselves, I simply thought you should have the honor.

Errr, ummm, I think I still have ice crystals in my brain. It isn't so easy for those of us over 150 years to recover from the cryo, yah no. Plus it makes my rheumatism act up and my implants ache. I'm glad to see we've agree to alternate between military and economic tech. Remember, the economy is the engine that drives the empire! I'm sure contributor and resistor agree with this sentiment. I guess us Moklumnuians--Mok'ers if you like--will next shoot for the yellow star just outside the southern passage through the great wall, unless quality is unexpectedly low or something. someone needs to make a loud noise outside those holes in the ground where the Javatites are mining and get their attention. Being in the Thulunian Naval Academy, proper protocol might have me wait, but I'm old, inpatient and cantankerous enough to do it myself. ntsheep, Brutus Aurelius, @officergenius, AA come to the service of the empire.

*Ducks a bit too slow as rock approach.* Ouch! My reflexes aint what they used to be. I think that's gonna leave a mark. *Perks an ear* What's that odd sheepish sound? My hearing isn't so good anymore.
Anyway, I seem to have stirred the Javitites to some sort of action. *Settles into chair with a loud grunt.* Can I have some prune juice, the old GI track needs all the help it can get.

Thulun is happy to receive you all. Please review the ledger, and let's get back to business. How're the mines, these days?

Ah, my esteemed colleague En1gma, I do so apologize for my absence from these halls. These past two weeks have been holiday weeks for Clan Moklumnue (well, actually, for South Koreans) so I've either been frantically trying to plow through my work and unable to reach you, or relaxing at home with my in-laws and unable to reach you. I shall hopefully be able to be more of a presence for the next month or so, so please do expect to hear more from me. As to our work, it seems that all parties find the proposal at least acceptable. Do you have any particular technologies that you would like to prioritize above others, or shall I simply draw up a plan which seems prudent?

johndramey, as you map our path of technological discovery, please keep in mind that... wait for it... the economy is the engine that drives the empire!

tenbsmith, you can be assured I know that! haha. I have drawn up a preliminary research proposal, and will lay it out in detail below. Please take a look, and if we have a consensus I can easily propose it in the main chambers, esteemed councilors. 1) Planetary Mining 1 2) Starship Construction 3 3) Manufacturing 1 4) Starship Construction 4 5) Space Colonization 3 6) Fleet Operations 1 7) Space Colonization 4 8) Reactors 1 9) Planetary Construction 6 10) Starship Construction 5 I believe this path is sufficient for our next cycle. My goals are simple: a) to unlock more advanced mines and factories, in that order. b) to unlock carriers and support technologies necessary to support our fighters c) to unlock advanced colonization modules necessary to jump start our colonies d) to pave the way for unlocking trade alliances next cycle e) to pave the way for unlocking planetary assault vessels next cycle I leave this to you, esteemed colleagues, to debate the merits of my proposal. You will hopefully see that I have alternated economic and military technologies, and I hope that you can also understand my aims and how they will be to the betterment of our Empire.
