I absolutely love Kyera, as an AoE spellcaster. Buffed with Burning blades, +holy, +accuracy and +crit gear, she is a major death-dealer. I invested 0 points in banishment so I could max EA and put substantial points in Warder's and Piety. She has a great +sp mantle from Storm Bastion, the killer staff from the Druid and is spec'd for sp pool. Now. In the final CoD fight without The Shade Me too! I Learned a really cool technique from one of contributor 's posts fighting in the City of the Dead. From time to time you will find scrolls that add things like +30 fire to all your attacks for just a few turns. In CoD Lurker loaded up several of these on a character then cast multiple "Incantation of Sustainment" scrolls on the character. This increased the number of rounds enough to finish the entire huge battle without the damage buffs running out. I was able to get Kyera's Banishment(10) to do 83-290 damage, it didn't miss, covers a whopping 25 tile cloud with a maximum of 16 targets. She had just a dash of 4% Critical which was allot of fun to see when it went off. One source of Incantation of Sustainment scrolls is at the Reis Lodge in the Braey's lands, they cost 250 gp. You also get them as treasure drops.

I love seeing our forum full of avatars that are characters in my favorite games Thank you both so much for your support. fallen I don't know how many fans you guys got. But I do know, because of you and Cory, there are at least 10,000 people worldwide who had more fun today. "Ask not what Trese Brothers can do for you, But what you can do for Trese Brothers"

johndramey Your welcome always a pleasure helping out the family of Gholla Heights. Yeah I got pretty panicky. As usual I burst into tears and ran to fallen to fix my boo-boo. He calmed my shuddering sobs, gave me a lollipop, patted me on the head and sent me back to the Underdeep.

Of course you played Sid Meier's Pirates right? Everyone played that. It reminds me - maybe I should go install that again (if I can find the CD's slayernzRight again King Cat. Such a classic. You can pick up a copy on Steam for $9.99. My old CD's are in a box somewhere in the basement: ain't cloud storage sweet?

I've been playing around for a while and have been meaning to post this since I first noticed it, but using our super secret kickstarter code to get the boon items doesn't seem to work properly when boosting in. At least not with the starter items. Is this a fixable bug, would it be possible for the game to check which characters you are using and dump their gear into the player's inventory? I asked the same question: You don't get the starter items on a boost in, but you get all the others. Bloodlace will give you the next one after you say goodbye to Baron Giova in the conquered keep. Be sure to clear out the Ratkin from the basement first, you won't get to do that quest after you leave

She could charge right into the front line melee enemies and hold her own. The problem as I see it. There are always archers behind the melee line some can shoot at distances greater than 6. So I worry she would get shot full of holes as she is the only target out there to shoot at until the rest of the party arrives in strength. Enemy ranged attacks that can fire at range 8 are particularly deadly.

You say cursing/buffing attacks must score a hit. It should say must cause damage... because a 0 dmg soaked hit does nothing. You're right +1k for that great thread of yours that got the ball rolling. I found the detail info there much more helpful to my understanding. So I added this to all the tables and the main Main reference guide Curse attack display: Was the attack successful? Thanks to wascalwywabbit and fallen now we know. Thanks

Here is what I plan to work with. Cunning Footwork (10) | 3/64 | +6 Accuracy +16% Crit +6 Parry +9 Dodge 8+Lore Turns | Flashing Blades(6) | W/14 | +8 Accuracy +12 Dmg. On hit add +8 Accuracy +6% Crit for 3 Turns | Flanking Unity(5) | 3/23 | +6 Accuracy +8 Dmg. Group Buff 3+Leadership Turns |
Question 1: Flanking Unity(5) Does the Accuracy group bonus include ranged/spell and melee attacks for the team? Question 2: With the above 3 Talents in effect at the same time would Kincaid's accuracy be 6+16+6 Maximum of 28 Accuracy? In other words do the Accuracy bonuses from Cunning Foot Work(10), Flanking Unity(5), and the Maximum +16 Accuracy from a hit of Flashing Blades(6) all stack for Kincaid? (Oh yes mister pesky is back, when is this guy going to stop already!)

Pretty clear how it could be misunderstood. John Robinson - I will work on improving the description! fallen It's none of my biz, but, Why not let this one go? One tiny description is certainly minuscule compared to all the other stuff you are doing. (Sorry didn't mean to pitch a b**ch about something so small, I'm turning Kincaid upside down to see what shakes out of his pockets).

Archers not equal to melee, my friend. Only melee attacks should cause SP uses to be spent... Yep, strictly melee attacks only. When leveling the Talent description reads " Sure Parry 1 Auto-blocks first enemy hit, then ends; +1 Dodge" That's what caused my confusion, I thought it meant 100% protection from any "enemy hit" except a curse. It was probably explained in another post and I missed it. Anyhow I'll update the table to read "melee hits only not ranged" or something like that. It seems like Phalanx shield is kind of Sure Parry's opposite number with % auto block ranged but relies on parry against melee, where Kincaid's SP will stop 100% of the first three melee hits, but Kincaid's main defense against ranged attack is Dexterity/Dodge. Thanks again guys for the explanation

fallen Kincaid is currently using Sure Parry(5) +3 Parry +3 Dodge 8+lore turns. Here's the setup; S-P is full strength active; Ratkin Archer shoots hits and does damage, but there is no flash indicating auto block has intercepted the attack. When I check his stats his +Parry and +Dodge bonuses remain intact. So what happened? I thought I had this one solved in my shrunken frontal lobe.

I am finding Torrent of Steel to be devastating, but very hard to keep everyone cursed. And I am dreading fixing the range bug on ToS, because then it will get a lot worse. OMG! I just realized the bug isn't in Tamilin's ToS, it's really in Kincaid's Darting Steel. It has the range bug. I'm sure adding +1 to range of DS would fix the problem. HeeHeee
